The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Graduate Level Examination, commonly known as SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level), is a prominent competitive exam in India. Conducted by the Staff Selection Commission, it aims to recruit candidates for Group B and Group C posts in various government departments and ministries.
The SSC CGL exam comprises four tiers. The first two tiers are computer-based examinations – Tier-I tests candidates on general intelligence, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and English language, while Tier-II focuses on quantitative abilities and English language skills. Tier-III is a descriptive paper, and Tier-IV includes a skill test or computer proficiency test, depending on the position applied for.
